Craniosacral Therapy

What is Craniosacral Therapy?

This is a subtle way of working not only on the cranium (skull), and sacrum (base of the spine), but also with any area of the body holding physical or emotional stress.

I use my hands to locate and gently help to release tensions, allowing the body to heal and to feel more relaxed. It is often an effective treatment for babies, either for a particular symptom, or to help release any tensions linked to the birth process.

How does it work?

The effects of physical, mental, or emotional trauma can remain in the body indefinitely. Craniosacral therapy gives feedback to the body about the tensions it holds.
This allows the body to use its own healing potential to reach a more balanced state. Catching a problem early is advised, but symptoms coming from something that happened way back can often be resolved. Craniosacral therapy addresses the fluid systems of the body.
